At Maria Ottosson's on Norrby farm south of Åtvidaberg, the fallow deer are the densest.

- Here it drives around herds with hundreds of animals. They are often in their favorite fields.

At Maria Andersson, some fields have been trampled on - 100 percent damage. In other places, the forest damage is considerable.

- The loss of harvest on the dikes is probably 50 percent and the damage in the cornfields is about the same, believes Maria Ottosson.

It is in the south-eastern part of the county and in the fields in Stjärnorp and Grensholm that fallow deer are numerous, says Jeanette Blackert LRF's chairman in Östergötland.

- This spring it looked like this with Maria. The whole field was trampled and trampled, except in the cage where the deer could not reach. Photo: Maria Ottosson
