On Sunday afternoon, police, rescue services and an ambulance were alerted regarding a motorcycle accident at the height of Strömnäsbruk, outside Markaryd. The driver, a 60-year-old man, died during the evening as a result of his injuries.
The alarm about the single accident on county road 516 at the height of Strömnäsbruk came in at 13.40 on Sunday. A 60-year-old man was taken by ambulance to hospital.
During the evening, he died of his injuries, and relatives have been notified. No other vehicles must have been involved in the accident.
