The proposal: SEK 7,800 billion to EU member states to kick-start the economy after the corona pandemic. During the current EU summit, the member states will agree on how the money will be paid out.

Sweden, together with three other countries, wants the support to be provided through loans. Several others, including Germany and France, prefer the money to be added as grants.
