The Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs in Kuwait, Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, stated that an Emiri order was issued to seek the assistance of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to temporarily exercise some of the prerogatives of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Constitutional, according to the official Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Saturday.
The agency quoted the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah earlier today as saying, "His Highness the Emir of the country has entered the hospital this afternoon to conduct some medical examinations, asking the Lord, Most High, to grant him a blessing of health and well-being and protect His Highness from all harm."
