July 18, 2020 Hackers who orchestrated the sensational attack on Twitter accounts of American political figures, including Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg, have "successfully manipulated a small number of employees" on the social platform. This was stated by Twitter himself on his blog, where it is said that the targeted accounts were 130, 45 of which were successfully violated, thanks to "tools accessible only to internal support teams". For eight of those accounts, hackers managed to put private data online.
