The police were alerted by private individuals who found the body in a forest area adjacent to a residential area. The 18-year-old was identified, but the police were initially not sure that crime was behind his death.
The two 17-year-olds who have now been arrested have not previously been convicted of violent crimes, according to Aftonbladet. The boys' lawyers tell the newspaper that they are innocent and deny the crime.
Both were arrested for probable cause, the higher degree of suspicion, suspected of murder, writes Aftonbladet.
