Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country will continue to provide support to Libya and that it will not leave the Libyans alone, and considered Egypt's intervention in Libya illegal, and described the UAE's approach to the situation in Libya as similar to the behavior of pirates.

In statements to reporters after Friday prayers, Erdogan added that Ankara is about to conclude a new agreement with Libya to which the United Nations is a party.

He stressed that his country will not leave the Libyans alone, adding, "Our relationship with Libya is not an emergency relationship of ten or 50 years, but rather a relationship whose roots extend to 500 years."

The Turkish President also said that his government is about to conclude a new agreement to which the United Nations is a party, and that "Libya, for its part, is doing what must be done in this regard."

Illegal
stance Erdogan described the Egyptian position on the situation in Libya as illegal, considering that Cairo's standing next to what he described as a putschist (retired Major General Khalifa) Hifter indicates that it is taking an illegal approach.

He also stressed that the Abu Dhabi government is behaving like a pirate by supporting Haftar with large quantities of arms and money.

He pointed out that the current situation in Libya is a struggle between those who stand by the legitimate government of al-Sarraj in Tripoli, and those who stand alongside the revolutionary Haftar, and there are parties that support the two parties, and everyone who aligns with Haftar takes an illegal and illegal position.
