Jean Castex effectively offered pledges to the social partners by announcing that the date of entry into force of the controversial reform of unemployment insurance would be "postponed" because of the health and economic crisis. The reform, a first part of which entered into force last November and a second was expected on September 1, is postponed in its entirety to the beginning of 2021, according to the participants in the meeting.
