China Overseas Chinese Network, July 17th, according to the US "World Daily" report, the Queens District Prosecutor's Office in New York recently listed a "case of the death of a Chinese girl student missing seven years ago" as a pending case, saying that it will use advanced forensic technology and The national DNA database investigates the truth and calls on insiders to provide clues.

It is reported that the case occurred on December 19, 2012. After a 24-year-old Chinese female college student disputed with her boyfriend, she lost contact after leaving the residence. About two months later, on February 16, 2013, the girl's body was found at the beach in Breezy Point, Queens. The forensic doctor said that the deceased's hands and feet were bound, and his neck was broken. The body was severely deformed due to prolonged seawater immersion. The case suffers from the lack of evidence, and no suspects have been identified so far, and the family can only remember the dead in grief.

The Queens District Prosecutor’s Office in New York established the first Cold Case Unit in May to identify suspects in these homicides through advanced forensic technology and a national DNA database, provide new clues to the case, and investigate the truth for the deceased.
