Researchers in Singapore have discovered antibodies that attack the Corona virus across four places and completely neutralize it, The Straits Times reported, based on findings by scientists from the National Center for Infectious Diseases and the Science, Technology and Research Agency.
Scientific results published by the journal Nature Communications and The Lancet indicate that antibodies can prevent the virus from controlling a human cell in the first place, or prevent it from reproducing inside it.
The researchers indicated that these results could lead to the discovery of a vaccine or verification of the effectiveness of a vaccine.
Bloomberg News indicated that the National Center for Infectious Diseases will monitor levels of antibodies in patients recovering from the virus over a period of two years to determine the duration of antibodies.
