The gendarmerie of Bailleul, about ten kilometers from Lille (North), was the scene of a femicide in the night from Thursday to Friday. Around 10 p.m. and after an argument, a gendarme killed his wife with his weapon before attempting to commit suicide, reports La Voix du Nord .
According to the regional daily, the man is not dead but his life prognosis is engaged. He was transferred to the hospital. The victim was in his forties. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the research section of the Lille gendarmerie.
