Abu Dhabi witnessed the launch of the first specialized website to register volunteers wishing to participate in the global clinical trials for the third phase of the inactive vaccine to combat the Covid-19 epidemic listed under the umbrella of the World Health Organization.

Volunteers wishing to participate in the experiments can now visit 4humanity.ae to provide the required details and contact information to those responsible for this historic initiative. Participation in the trials will be available to individuals from 18 to 60 years of all races and nationalities, after conducting the necessary medical examinations.

An emergency hotline (02 819 1111) has been allocated 24/7 for all volunteers in these clinical trials, and Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) will manage this line.

These experiments are the fruit of cooperation between the Abu Dhabi-based G42 Healthcare, which plays a leading role in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, and Cinopharm CNBG, the sixth largest producer of vaccines in the world.

The experiments are conducted under close supervision and follow-up by the Abu Dhabi Health Department, and specialists from the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “SEHA” work in five locations in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain as well as a mobile clinic, to ensure easy access to volunteers wishing to participate in the experiments program.

The UAE is an ideal destination for phase III tests on the inactive Covid-19 vaccine, given the diversity of nationalities it embraces, which will allow detailed research and contribute to enhancing the viability of the global application of the vaccine if the experiments succeed.
