“Today, the government will allocate more than 2 billion 600 million rubles to provide subventions to the regions to extinguish forest fires,” RIA Novosti quotes Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
He noted that "it is necessary to use all the resources and opportunities for the most effective solution to this issue."
Earlier it was reported that forest fire services extinguished 112 natural fires per day in Russia.
