- We have had a tough time on most of our routes due to the restrictions that exist between our neighboring countries. So this is very welcome, he says and adds that they look forward to welcoming passengers on board again.

Pent-up need

He does not think there will be any problems in normalizing travel again. On Tuesday, it was announced that Germany would release the quarantine, which was immediately noticed on the company's two German lines.

- I see no reason why it would be different with Halmstad-Grenå. There is a pent-up need for people to travel, so I think people are starting to look at departures already now, says Erik Lewenhaupt.

He also wants to urge travelers to stay up to date on the rules that apply in other countries they intend to visit.
