During the interview, he was asked to comment on discussions on the Internet that authorities in Moscow allegedly “hide something” in the situation with the spread of coronavirus.

“Do you believe that something can be hidden in Moscow? We have a small town, we all live in a radius of 15 km. Everyone knows each other, they can call a doctor they know, ask their friends who is sick, ”kp.ru quotes him.

According to him, in addition to official data on the number of detected cases of coronavirus, "there is still a huge amount of other information about what is happening in the city."

In particular, in Moscow, as Sobyanin noted, about 70 thousand tests for coronavirus per day are performed, which is one of the highest rates in the world.

“Over the past month and a half, there have been less and less of covert pneumonia every week - by 10, 15, 20%. The numbers are constantly decreasing, and this indicator is objective ... We know for sure what is happening in the city, ”the Moscow Mayor added.

He also emphasized that "you cannot hide the dead anywhere."

“These numbers are easy to compare with data from previous years. We openly publish everything, ”said Sobyanin.

Earlier, Sobyanin expressed the hope that Moscow will avoid the “hard flash” of COVID-19.

In his opinion, the level of collective immunity to coronavirus infection among residents of Moscow allows you to confidently get out of restrictions.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, Doctor of Medical Sciences Nikolai Govorin, in an interview with the FAN, commented on the situation with coronavirus in Russia.
