"From Ukraine, we hear warlike rhetoric, which is clearly artificially provoked, regarding possible military plans of Russia with regard to Ukraine ... I want to assure you that there are no such plans and cannot be," the diplomat quotes TASS.

Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Aleksey Neizhpapa, said that the Navy was preparing for military operations with Russia.

According to him, in Kiev they expect a Russian attack on the Kherson region.

In the Kremlin, such statements were called "absolute stupidity."

Later, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the absence of a "threat of invasion" of Russia.

Nayev added that Neizhpapa, speaking of preparations for military operations with Russia, exaggerated.

As the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov emphasized, Russia will not fight with Ukraine.
