Today (16th) is the post of the homepage of the US Embassy in Korea.

It said that it will resume issuing some non-immigrant visas from the 20th.

There are three areas to resume work: study abroad visa required for training in US schools and English programs, such as the F visa, the M visa for professional technical training such as aviation and engineers, and the J visa for visiting exchange students and researchers.

It is only four months since it was stopped in March due to the spread of Corona 19, but it seems to have also taken into account the schedule of the American school that begins the fall semester next month.

[Academic agent: It was only open from July 21 to 31 (interview application period). We were also traveling because we couldn't make a visa reservation. 'I can get a visa now' is so breathtaking.] The

time to resume immigration visas and employment and religious visas has not been decided yet, but it seems to have run into the US Corona19 situation.

[William Coleman/A spokesman for the US Embassy in Seoul: We will resume all routine non-immigration and immigration visa work once the proper circumstances are in place and the situation is safe.]

The visa application fee already paid is valid and can be used to apply for an appointment for an interview within one year from the payment date, the US Embassy said.
