President Moon Jae-in said, "I will make it clear that I can no longer make money through real estate speculation." I will take all the measures necessary to curb speculation and stabilize housing prices.

President Moon said today at the opening ceremony of the 21st National Assembly on the afternoon of the 16th, "The best public welfare legislative project now is real estate measures."

President Moon added that while raising the burden of housing for multi-homeowners and raising the transfer tax on market profits significantly, he added that he will ease the burden on tenants in one-home housing and strongly pursue measures to purchase real homes and stabilize housing.

He also said that he would listen to the voice of the opposition demanding an increase in housing supply and actively pursue the necessary measures.

Next, he asked the National Assembly for cooperation, saying that if the National Assembly did not support the real estate measures of the government, including the 3rd lease law, it would not be a half measure.

President Moon also said, "The date of the launching of the airborne office, which is set by the National Assembly, has already passed." He said, "There is still no work to be decided by the National Assembly, including the appointment of the airborne chief."

He added, "I would like to ask you to complete the recommendation during this session and open the personnel hearing within the deadline."
