“This is some kind of illness in them, in my opinion. They don’t believe at all, probably, that something can happen in their states without outside interference, and outside intervention for them is primarily “interference” from Russia, ”Tsekov explained.

According to the senator, no evidence of "interference" with Russia is given, because they simply do not exist. 

“This is a disease called Russophobia. This indicates a low level of political culture in these countries. This indicates that they are experiencing a very serious crisis, ”the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, British authorities said that Russia "almost certainly" tried to intervene in the 2019 parliamentary elections in the UK.

Moreover, the statement said that "there is no evidence of the existence of an extensive campaign of Russia against the elections," however, "any attempt to intervene in democratic processes is completely unacceptable."
