“We will appeal the decisions of the Lefortovo and Moscow city courts in the cassation instance,” the lawyer of RIA Novosti said.
Earlier, the Moscow City Court left Safronov in jail. The meeting was closed.
Safronov was detained on July 7. The FSB suspected him of working for the intelligence service of one of the NATO countries.
