The Cross-Strait College Culture and Creativity Forum has gone through an extraordinary decade since it was held in 2011, and has become an important platform for cross-strait creative industry talents and cultural exchanges and cooperation.

Vice President Wang Xiuyong of Huaqiao University said that through colorful cultural inheritance, thinking development, creative design and other activities, the forum allowed more than 1,000 campers from both sides to walk through many places of interest in Taipei, Quanzhou, Xiamen and other places, and more than 200 people from both sides. Each team experienced many cultural treasures such as Yongchun paper weaving paintings and Dehua ceramics; it also promoted Taiwan campers to start a business in the mainland and mainland campers to study in Taiwan, so that young people from both sides of the strait can also grow together.

This year, affected by the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, the Cross-Strait College Culture and Creativity Forum was launched online for the first time. The students on both sides of the strait are enthusiastic, using modern network technology to live broadcast and share the customs of their hometown, and exchange sparks that collide with creative thinking.

In the "Fujian-Taiwan Cloud Travels" small video contest held during this forum, students recorded small videos, used cameras to record the ancient charm of the two sides, and used stories to tell the years of the two sides. Ma Ruicheng, deputy director of the China Youth Innovation Network Association in Taiwan, said that students from both sides of the strait actively participated in it, narrated the stories and delicacies of their hometowns, and also had a better understanding of other cities.

On this basis, the forum also temporarily added a "Live in the Hometown Views · Across the Taiwan Straits" youth live broadcast on both sides of the cloud, and invited representatives of the forum campers to broadcast live in Taichung, Taiwan, and four cities of Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Quanzhou, Fujian. . Among them, the Taichung City Yunyou live broadcast was guided by Taiwan campers Fan Jiawei, Chen Yixiang, Yang Mengxuan, Lin Jingwei, etc. The live broadcast explained the audit of the new village storefronts and building renovations, Wanggaoliao night tour viewing route and surrounding features, bringing everyone to appreciate the style of Taichung.

"I hope that after the closing of this forum, the campers will continue to keep in touch and will often meet online to gain sincere friendship in the collision of thoughts and emotional exchanges; work together to promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation and inherit China. Excellent traditional culture makes new and greater contributions." Wang Xiuyong said. (Finish)
