A bad crash in Parkano
In Parkano, several people were injured on Thursday in a crash of a heavy vehicle and two cars.
According to Yle, two people have died in the accident.

An elderly man drove to concrete pillars in Tornio
An elderly man died after colliding with his car in the concrete pillars in Tornio, Lapland, on Thursday morning. This was reported by BTI.
The accident took place on Highway 8 at the underpass of Jokivarrentie at about 10.15.
The car drifted into the oncoming lane after the collision. The driver, born in 1949, died in the accident immediately.

One died in Karkkila
One person died in a traffic accident in Karkkila, Western Uusimaa.
The car drifted into the oncoming lane and hit a grocery truck.
The driver of the car died at the scene of the accident.
The passenger car caught fire in the collision.

Two died in Kokemäki
In Kokemäki, Satakunta, two men died in a motorcycle and bicycle crash late Wednesday night.
According to the rescue service, a motorcycle and a bicycle crashed in an intersection near the center of Kokemäki. According to the on-duty firefighter, there were no exceptional visual obstructions at the intersection, but there is a longer straight line in the area before the intersection.
The Rescue Department received an alert for the events after nine in the evening on Wednesday. The motorcyclist is suspected of driving a significant overspeed.

The motorcyclist collided with a light pole in Lahti
In Lahti, a middle-aged man died in a motorcycle accident, the Häme Police Department said in a press release late Wednesday.
Police said the man had lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a lamppost.
According to the press release, the police and the Road Accident Investigation Board are investigating the cause of the accident.
