Two hours to get back on track: Paris SG has chosen to continue its preparation by adopting an unprecedented friendly match format Friday against the Belgians of Waasland-Beveren, with four periods of thirty minutes each, AFP learned on Wednesday PSG.

This should allow coach Thomas Tuchel to give more playing time to his players, limited to 45 minutes for their return to Le Havre (9-0) Sunday.

"Friday, everyone will play 60 minutes. That's good. The goal is to arrive fresh for Saint-Etienne" in the final of the Coupe de France on July 24, said the German technician, after the demonstration in Normandy.

This meeting should also mark the return of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and others at the Parc des princes, after more than four months of absence due to the pandemic of Covid-19.

The maximum gauge of 5,000 people present in the enclosure will be applied. Places were still available on the club website, at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.

After the Flemish team, the red lantern of the last Belgian Championship, PSG will face Glasgow Celtic on Tuesday for their last preparatory match before the final of the Coupe de France.

Next will come the final of the League Cup against Lyon on July 31, then the long-awaited final eight-a-side Champions League tournament in Lisbon, with a quarter-final against Atalanta Bergamo on August 12.
