The continued mass death of elephants in Botswana is a mystery. According to veterinarians at the country's Department of Wilderness and National Parks, it could be an infection.

In the last week, three more carcasses have been found, and there are now hundreds of elephants that have died of unknown causes.

- It may be infectious diseases that are behind it, says Mmadi Reuben, veterinarian at Botswana's Department of Wilderness and National Parks.
