There was a state of terror in the hearts of car owners, from passers-by who appeared in a video clip on the social media site, showing the horrific accident after its occurrence, according to "Al-Masry Al-Youm".

The Governor of Cairo, Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, and the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq Al-Mulla went to the site of the explosion of the oil pipeline on the Ismailia Road.

The governor of Cairo said that the accident resulted in the burning of a car showroom, and 20 fire trucks were called in to control the fire.

The explosion occurred in the oil pipeline feeding from the Chuqair area in the Red Sea heading to Mostorod, and the location of the explosion is located specifically on the Ismailia Misr - An-Nozha neighborhood.

The governor affirmed that the capital’s equipment is present at the accident site until the fallout of the fire is completely controlled.
