Since 1 July, the municipality has the right to close down operations if they believe that the restrictions are not being complied with. So far, things have not gone that far in Falun.
- Some restaurants are very crowded. Our restaurateurs do their best. It is not they who are the problem, it is guests who do not take care of themselves, says Katarina Gustavsson (KD), chair of the Authority Committee for Construction and Environmental Issues.
She testifies to congestion in everything from grocery stores to beaches.
- I understand that it is tough to persevere, but we must. I get a stomach ache from seeing what it looks like, she says.
