The US states of Alabama, Florida and North Carolina recorded record increases in daily deaths due to Covid-19 disease on Tuesday, grim developments that follow a nationwide first increase in deaths since mid-April as some states rushed to reopen.

The number of new cases reported daily began to rise about six weeks ago, especially in southern and western states such as Arizona, California, Florida and Texas, states that quickly lifted restrictions that caused job losses significantly, but also contributed to controlling the spread of the Corona virus.

HIV cases rose in 46 out of 50 US states last week compared to the previous week, according to a Reuters analysis of data from the Covid Disease Tracking Project. So far in July, 28 states have reported record daily increases in new cases.

With more than 3.3 million cases registered, the United States ranks first in the world in terms of population incidence alongside Peru. It also occupies the seventh place in the number of deaths in terms of its percentage compared to injuries, after it recorded more than 135 thousand deaths. And occupies this position among the twenty countries that recorded the largest number of cases in the world.
