“The court ruled: to satisfy the petition of the investigation, to extend the preventive measure until August 17,” RIA Novosti quoted the court as saying.

It is noted that in custody are Peter Karamzin, Dmitry Poletaev, Vyacheslav Kryukov and Ruslan Kostylenkov.

Anna Pavlikova, Maria Dubovik and Maxim Roshchin are under house arrest.

On February 19, Boris Klin, a special correspondent for RT, a member of the PMC of Moscow, visited four accused in the New Greatness case in a pre-trial detention center.

The participants of the “New Greatness” are accused of organizing and participating in an extremist community.

According to investigators, they intended to seize power in Russia by staging a coup.

In turn, the lawyers argue that the extremist organization was actually created by the security forces themselves - allegedly in one of the Telegram chats, an operational officer talked with the persons involved in the case.
