The Syrian Ministry of Transport announced today, Tuesday, that it will operate 3 three flights a week with Cairo in one direction only (Damascus - Cairo), provided that the return flight from the Egyptian capital will be empty.

According to a statement published by the Syrian Ministry of Transport, flights will be launched from July 16, according to the following schedule:

Thursday take off Damascus 15:00 local time.

Saturday, 9:00 Damascus local time.

Monday, Damascus take off 17:00 local time.

The ministry indicated that all passengers will be required to abide by the terms of entry into Egypt according to the following procedures:

- The passenger must wear gloves and gloves during the flight.

Maintain the spacing between passengers when boarding and getting off the plane.

- The passenger’s commitment to complete the Declaration Form before boarding the plane at the travel airport, and to present it to the Quarantine Authority at the airport of arrival and it will be distributed on the plane.

- The need to possess a comprehensive health insurance for corona for any non-Egyptian passenger, and a passenger who has a permanent residence in Egypt is treated as an Egyptian citizen, provided that the residence is for a period of one year as a minimum.

As for the passengers whose stay ended during the ban period between March 19 and July 1 of this year, it will be taken into account not to count that period as a failure to renew the residence due to the inability to return to their country due to the closure of airports.
