Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, responded to a question about the "red line" regarding the file of the Renaissance Dam, similar to the declaration by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, at a previous conference, the cities of Sirte and Jafra on the western borders with the Libyan neighborhood, a red line for Egyptian national security.

Shukri said, during a phone call to the "Al-Masry" program, which is shown on the "Al-Ghad" channel, that the red line according to international law is the occurrence of serious harm, and this harm is illegal in the framework of international law.

He continued: "Egypt and its devices cannot stand without decisively dealing with any harm to the Egyptian citizen," explaining that failure to reach an agreement on the Renaissance Dam would lead to more tension, and Egypt would proceed in the path of negotiation by the Security Council to resolve the Renaissance Dam crisis.
