According to reports, the ship entered the port for repair of the hull. The Korean quarantine authority confirmed the diagnosis of a crew member during the boarding inspection of the ship.
Including the diagnosed persons, there are 44 crew members on board, and the possibility of newly diagnosed patients is higher. At present, the remaining 43 people are being isolated in the cabin, and the test results of the new crowns of the rest will be released on the afternoon of the 14th.
The report pointed out that the quarantine department is carrying out epidemiological investigation work to further grasp the number of close contacts of confirmed cases. It will also discuss with Busan the plan to transfer the confirmed crew to the Busan Medical Center, a specialized hospital for infectious diseases.
