“Today, another 269 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Moldova ... the total number of people diagnosed with coronavirus has reached 19,708,” the department said.
It is clarified that only 13,033 people were cured after coronavirus, and 655 died as a result of COVID-19.
Earlier, Moldova extended the state of emergency in public health from July 15 to July 31.
