Grant Imahara, known from the Mythbusters TV series, has died at the age of 49, according to the TMZ website, among others. He died of a bulge in the cerebral artery.

Imahara died on Monday. A beloved presenter and electrical engineer will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Another Mythbusters presenter, Adam Savage, described Imahara as a great engineer, artist, and performer.

Fans knew Imahar as an expert in robotics, and he started the series in Mythbreakers in the third season. He left the series in 2014, but returned with his old colleagues to Netflix’s White Rabbit Project.

Before Imahara became a TV star, she worked behind the scenes for nine years at LucasFilm. He also worked on some Matrix, Jurassic Park and Terminator films.

The Mythbusters was an American science-focused TV series. Discovery Channel performed the first episode of the series in the United States in 2003. In Finland, the series premiered on MTV3 in 2006.

The series ended after the 14th production season in 2016.

The main presenters of the myth-breakers are Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, who solved the truthfulness of public beliefs and rumors through scientific means. In 2017, Jamie Hyneman visited Finland and was appointed an honorary doctor of Lappeenranta University of Technology.
