Recently, a free medical team consisting of 6 medical experts from the Yunnan Armed Police Corps Hospital came to the free medical clinic in Nianli Village, Kangpu Township, Weixi County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Nianlimi Village is the designated support village of the Armed Police Yunnan Corps Diqing Detachment. Due to its remoteness, villagers can only rely on the village clinic for daily medical treatment. In order to alleviate this situation, the Armed Police Yunnan Corps Hospital regularly sends people to the village to carry out free medical consultation and drug delivery activities, as far as possible to provide convenience to villagers in need.

At the scene, military doctors performed physical examinations for villagers, asked about illnesses, prescribed prescriptions, and patiently explained how to use the drugs, explaining the prevention and treatment of common diseases. For some patients with serious illness, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital for more detailed and comprehensive systematic examination and treatment.

It is reported that in recent years, the Yunnan Armed Police Corps has specially patrolled remote villages, sent more than 32 batches of medical teams, and accumulated a total travel of more than 140,000 kilometers, receiving tens of thousands of patients. Nearly one million yuan in medicine was donated, and more than 60,000 copies of prevention and treatment manuals were distributed.
