The Deputy Director General of Police Operations at the General Command of Ajman Police, Brigadier Khaled Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, said that the Emirate of Ajman witnessed 91 serious accidents in the same period last year, with a decrease of 49%, in addition to a decrease in run-off accidents by 53%, for the same period of the year The past, with a 59% decrease in the number of traffic injuries.
He pointed to the importance of the commitment of the vehicle drivers to traffic regulations, pointing out that the first six months of this year witnessed 13609 minor traffic accidents, with a decrease of 27%, in addition to reserving 2765 vehicles due to non-compliance with traffic rules and laws, which were put in place to ensure the safety of road users.
He explained that the decrease in statistics of traffic accidents, injuries and deaths due to the police efforts in organizing traffic and continuous traffic awareness, pointing out that the Ajman Police General Command is keen on enhancing traffic safety for all road users through implementing many traffic initiatives from the reality of analyzing traffic statistics and accidents that threaten security The safety of road users, in addition to the intensification of the number of traffic patrols, to tighten road control and ensure the smooth flow of traffic as the population density increases in the emirate.
