Eng. Mohammed bin Yaarouf, Director of the Department of Branches in the Public Works Department in Sharjah, confirmed that among the projects of the development plan of the department, the department has completed the construction of 3 adjacent vital projects in Wadi Al Helu, at a cost of 12 million dirhams, and these projects extend over an area of ​​more than 23 thousand meters The most prominent square is the Wadi Al Helu nursery project, which covers an area of ​​8 thousand square meters, and includes an administrative office, a plastic house for agriculture, and areas designated for agriculture. As for the second project, it is a workshop for the maintenance of mechanical equipment, a warehouse building, a guard room, a tank, and a desalination basin that pumps 70 cubic meters of water per day. To water the green areas, it is hoped that they will be cultivated by the beneficiary, in addition to making use of the sludge produced by the plant as fertilizer for agriculture. It also includes 13 shaded parking spaces for large transport trucks.

He pointed out that the third project represented in a residential building for workers with a capacity of 80 workers, a prayer room, an entertainment hall, and service rooms such as toilets, showers, kitchen halls, and electricity and water rooms, and this housing contributes to providing a workers' society and an appropriate environment for them, away from residential gatherings, so that all workers enjoy housing An adequate and safe working environment whose conditions are consistent with internationally accepted standards, especially as this gives them more incentive to perform their business.

For her part, the director of the Kalba branch in the Public Works Department in Sharjah, Eng. Bashir Al-Mansouri, explained that, under the direction of His Excellency Eng. Ali bin Shaheen Al-Suwaidi, the necessity to expedite the completion of projects that meet the demands of society, the department ended the afforestation of the Wadi Al-Hilo Mountains at a cost of 7 million dirhams, and includes beautifying the entrance to the Wadi region Al-Hilo, where the department has established terraces for cultivation on three mountains according to specific gradients and wide areas and large amounts of plots to create agricultural ponds and tree planting, and the length of mountain plots reaches 1446 meters, and the width of each runway is 6 meters.

Al-Mansouri added, that one of the projects that the department recently completed in Wadi Al-Hilu was the construction of a staff housing building for the Wadi Al-Hilo Library, which is one of the cultural and social institutions that contains a collection of books full of information and cultural data arranged in a distinctive arrangement, which makes it easy for visitors to benefit from.

Al-Mansouri explained that one of the most characteristic features of Wadi Al-Hilo is its green nature, unlike what is expected to be a mountainous region, so that its mountains turned into a green spot as a result of the project of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to grow Sidr trees, so the region has about 20 thousand trees, in addition to Neighborhood gardens, roses and ornamental plants that cover both sides of the main road and public squares.
