The WHO reported more than 215 thousand new cases of coronavirus in the world

A total of 12,768,307 cases of coronavirus and 566,654 virus-related deaths were detected worldwide.

For a day in the world, 215 539 cases and 5 037 deaths were registered. 

The highest incidence of COVID-19 is in the Americas (6,669,879), Europe (2,925,686) and the Eastern Mediterranean Region (1,286,651).

Earlier, the chief expert of the COVID-19 working group in the USA, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said that the world is at the beginning of a global coronavirus pandemic, which is likely to worsen before it weakens.
