It's summer time!

In July, many regions have taken vacations in many regions

In the hot July, gold and stone are flowing, and many regions have started the "summer vacation mode".

On July 11, Beijing’s elementary and middle schools and Hefei’s compulsory education stage school were officially closed. The fall semester will begin on September 1 and the summer vacation will last for a total of 52 days. Immediately afterwards, students from Zhengzhou Elementary School to High School and Shenzhen Elementary School students ushered in the summer vacation on July 12, while Shenzhen’s middle schools began their vacation on July 18.

Affected by the epidemic situation, the summer vacation time of Shijiazhuang and Tangshan in Hebei Province has been adjusted. Primary schools 1 to 3 in the two places will not return to school this semester, and will take vacations directly. The fourth to sixth grades of elementary school, the non-graduation grades of junior high school, ordinary high school and vocational school are on June 21 and June 22, respectively.

When it was announced that the time for returning to school in the spring semester was postponed, many people questioned whether they would shorten the summer vacation time to make up for the missing class hours. At present, vacation time in most areas is similar to previous years. As of early July, elementary school students in Xiamen, Jinan, Hangzhou, Nanchang and other places have entered the "summer vacation mode."

In terms of the start time of the fall semester, most regions will welcome a large number of students back to school on August 31 and September 1. For senior students in some regions, in order not to delay the progress of their studies, their summer vacation time has shrunk.

The senior high school grades in Jining, Shandong and Dezhou were all on holiday on August 3, which was nearly a month shorter than usual. Middle schools in Hainan Province are also on holiday from August 10, and the school starts in the fall semester on September 1.

For the 2021 high school students in Heyuan, Guangdong, the mood for the summer vacation can be said to have undergone a "roller coaster"-style change.

In May, the Education Bureau of Heyuan City, Guangdong Province issued the "Notice on Adjusting the School Calendar of the Spring Semester of Heyuan Primary and Middle Schools in 2020", stating that the beginning of the summer vacation of the spring semester of the compulsory education schools and ordinary high schools in Heyuan City are all in July. On the 26th, if there are no special circumstances for the third year of high school graduates in 2021, they will return to school on August 1 for classes. The summer vacation is only 6 days.

However, half a month later, the Heyuan City Education Bureau adjusted this arrangement to ensure that there will be at least two weeks of rest in the summer vacation of the second grade of 2018. The class will not start before August 10, 2020. Extended.

Is the summer vacation time for "overtaking on corners"?

In many places, it is strictly forbidden for schools to organize Olympic games

Summer vacation is a time for children to rest and relax, but it is also a "golden period" for some parents to "catch up" with others. Many people will sign up for a variety of cram schools for their children during the holidays to fill the entire summer vacation. In response, various localities have introduced corresponding measures to rectify the chaotic phenomenon of supplementary classes.

The Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education issued a notice on July 9 to make specific arrangements for prohibiting the charging of summer school violations and remedial lessons, and announced a hotline for reporting summer school violations.

The Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education requires that all elementary and middle schools in the province shall not organize students to make up classes or take new classes, and shall not hold subject training classes, specialty classes, Olympic classes, and advanced classes, except for the third grade of high school; Induce students to participate in remedial classes for violations inside and outside the school; teachers of primary and secondary schools in service are strictly prohibited from participating in remedial classes for violations organized by off-campus training institutions or organized by other teachers, parents, parent committees, etc.

The education department of Tai'an City, Shandong Province will also conduct a centralized inspection of the standardization of school-run training institutions outside the school during the summer vacation.

During the summer vacation, the education department of Tai'an will focus on checking whether the out-of-school training institutions are "certifying schools" and whether they are implemented item by item against the 40 "bans" specified in the "Negative List of Out-of-school Training Institutions in Tai'an City". It is strictly forbidden for outside-school training institutions to hire in-service teachers for paid lessons, and it is strictly forbidden to organize students to learn in advance.
