Berlin (dpa / tmn) - online conferences, digital presentations or new software on the work computer: The corona crisis has given digital technology a boost in some professions.

If employees have taken computer courses or software training courses for this reason, they can deduct the full amount from the tax as advertising costs. The digital association Bitkom draws attention to this.

The prerequisite is that the course is related to professional activity and that the knowledge acquired is used in the profession. The course participant must prove this. A certificate of attendance for the course is important for proof to the tax office. Even better, according to Bitkom, is a statement from the employer that makes the professional reason for the training clear.
