The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship granted a month's time starting from yesterday for individuals whose visit or tourism visas expired after the first of last March, by adjusting their status and leaving the country, without applying any fines to them.

The spokesman for the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Brigadier General Khamis Al-Kaabi, said about the Cabinet’s amendments to a package of decisions in the “Identity and Nationality” sector, which was recently issued, that the visitor whose visa has expired to the state must settle their conditions to leave the country within a month, considering that the field The air is now beginning to open, and they are welcome at any time to visit the Emirates.

And based on the Cabinet’s decision, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship began resuming its services to customers starting yesterday and collecting the fees due for providing services to ensure the proper progress of work and the quality of the services provided.

The Commission called its customers from its service recipients to renew the identity cards and residency permits expired from all citizens and the children of the Cooperation Council and residents present in the state and the initiative to renew, stressing its keenness on the dealers and its commitment to achieving social separation.
