Since the defendant is under 15 years of age, a so-called evidence suit was brought against him where the court is to try the debt issue. The suspect has always denied crime.

"Of course, it is difficult for my client to have to go through this again, but it is also nice to sort things out and maybe also get an end," says defense lawyer David Breitfeld.

It was at the end of March that police were called to an address at a school yard in Kortedala. A 12-year-old boy was found at the scene with serious knife injuries to his neck. Two days later the victim died.

Arrested in his home

Shortly after the incident, a suspected 13-year-old was arrested in his home. According to the defendant's lawyer, the victim along with a small company should rob him.

- There are other circumstances that show that the client was badly exposed both by the victim and other persons and this incident must have occurred as a result of this, adds the 13-year-old's lawyer.

According to Chamber Prosecutor Mats Ihbom, there is both technical evidence and witnesses to the incident.

- I will present this in court and some other things that I cannot go into at present, he says.
