According to him, Ukraine has been implementing a "profound decentralization reform" for several years, within the framework of which legislative acts have been adopted, amendments to the Constitution have been made and it is within this process that Kiev can consider the "powers of the occupied separate regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions."

“With regard to the direct mention of the so-called Ordlo (certain regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. - RT) in the Constitution, for us this is unacceptable,” he said.

According to the Minister, Ukraine openly speaks about this to its partners.

Earlier, the office of the President of Ukraine noted that Kiev excludes the possibility of consolidating the status of Donbass in the Constitution.

At the end of June, Russia's envoy to the contact group Boris Gryzlov announced the start of a dialogue between Kiev and Donbass on the law on the special status of the region.
