- There is a lot of concern that the children carry. They are both worried about death and illness, especially in older relatives. But also that it has a very negative impact on social life, friendships and very much missing from grandparents, says Anna Sarkadi, professor of social medicine in the Morning Study.

Anna Sarkadi is active at Uppsala University and has led the work. She also says that the youngest children who participated in the study between 4-6 years could respond very well and have very many thoughts about corona.

The study was conducted between April-June 2020 and was conducted via web-based anonymous surveys, where there was also the opportunity for the children to contribute drawings and photos in the study.

A total of 1,106 children aged 4-18 have participated in the research study.
