In addition, there were 104 new death cases in Russia, with a total of 11,439 death cases; 2960 new cases were cured, and a total of 50,421 cases were cured.

The Russian Epidemic Prevention Headquarters also said that in the past 24 hours, the most new cases of new coronavirus infection in Russia were in the following regions: 672 cases in Moscow, 291 in St. Petersburg, and 270 in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region.
Chulanov, chief infectious disease scientist at the Russian Ministry of Health, said that Russia has reduced the number of new coronavirus infections due to isolation measures, but the number of infections in individual areas is still rising.
Chulanov also pointed out that any place where a large number of people gather can create conditions for the rapid spread of the new coronavirus. He stated that the epidemic prevention measures should continue to be followed, and the main thing is to wear masks in public.
