It was during the night towards Sunday that residents of Bjurhovda heard several loud bangs in the area. Police arrived at the scene, but found no evidence that a shotgun should have taken place.
- We were in the area overnight and found nothing, neither people, property damage or traces of shooting, says Daniel Winger at RLC region Mitt.
Empty sleeves have now been found by a private person and the police suspect they may be connected to the night's bangs. The area has now been blocked off and the police are looking for witnesses through door knocking.
A report of serious arms crime has been prepared. There is currently no suspect.
