Voting is closed by 8:00 pm and early on, the votes are open.

NHK conducted an exit survey on 2917 voters who voted at 32 polling stations in Kagoshima Prefecture on the 12th of the polling day, and received responses from 2164 people, which is about 74%.

In the exit survey, there is
a dispute between Mr. Shioda, a former director of the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Mr. Santanen, who is aiming for the second term after being recommended by the LDP and Komeito parties.
