Naples and AC Milan took only one point each (2-2) Sunday during their meeting of the 32nd day of Serie A at the San Paolo stadium, a result which mainly suits AS Rome, who consolidates its 5th place.

With a trip to the field of relegation Brescia and this duel between its Neapolitan and Milanese pursuers, Roma knew that the weekend could be favorable for them.

The Giallorossi did their bit of work on Saturday by easily defeating Brescia (3-0), then saw Naples and Milan neutralize. In the classification, the team of the capital therefore remains 5th and well placed for direct qualification in the Europa League.

Naples is on its side 6th at two lengths and this little stop after two wins in a row is inconsequential, the team of Gennaro Gattuso being already qualified for the C3 thanks to its victory in the Italian Cup.

As for Milan, it remains 7th, two points behind Naples and four from Roma, with for the moment a simple folding seat for the preliminary rounds of the C3.

On Sunday, the match between the two teams was extremely balanced and the draw seems logical.

Milan opened the brand by Théo Hernandez (20th), still just as effective for a side. Naples then went ahead thanks to Di Lorenzo (34th) then Mertens (60th).

But at the end of the match, Kessié equalized from the penalty spot for the Rossoneri (2-2, 73rd), who therefore recorded a new positive result after their success in a row against the first two in the championship, Lazio Rome and Juventus.

Monday, the 32nd day will end with the match between Inter Milan (4th) and Torino (16th). The Milanese will take 2nd place if they win.
