Electric scooters and bicycles were some of the things that were brought up today when divers cleaned the bottom of Djurgårdsbrunnsviken in Stockholm. - It's always just as exciting to get under the surface and see what's there, says Camilla Zedendahl, CEO of Royal Djurgården's Interest Center.
The divers in the voluntary project Rena Botten have recovered 20 tonnes of debris from the sea in the past year. The goal is to clean a place in the country every month.
- In addition to inspiring people to clean up, we want to pick up debris in the places that are most vulnerable, says Marcus Sundberg, diving director at Rena Botten.
