Our National Ambassadors program "Readiness" consists of five tracks, which are the path of scientific research, the enrichment path, the path of entrepreneurship, the path of diplomacy and the default summer training sustainability program for 2020 where the Ministry worked to implement this program and make it available to students to coordinate and cooperate with 17 universities and institutions in order to find the training framework for each track And providing the skillful content required for each track separately, as the program has received a great demand from students due to its importance and its role in enabling them to acquire the necessary skills for the stage of university study. The program targets citizens and non-citizens students from grades 9 to 12 alongside university students who have a passion and motivation to learn Self from all public and private schools in the United Arab Emirates.
Our National Ambassadors program "Readiness" aims to develop a qualitative and sustainable model for the Ministry of Education program "Our Ambassadors", whereby the course of our ambassadors' programs will start with our national ambassadors programs within the "preparedness" program that will be implemented within the country and then students will have the opportunity to participate in our international ambassadors programs and represent the country Overseas, the program seeks to provide students with entrepreneurial skills, enhance their critical thought, and identify the best students in terms of performance and achievements in our national ambassadors' programs to engage them in major programs and competitions in the country, whether organized by the Ministry of Education, such as the Emirates Competition for the Young World within the National Festival of Science, Technology and Innovation, or Organized by other parties.
The Minister of Education, Hussein Al-Hammadi, during his speech at the virtual press conference yesterday, stated that our National Ambassadors' "readiness" program came this year to stress the importance of enabling students to form vital skills that will later form solid foundations that enable them to engage in university life with confidence and competence armed with the finest armed The knowledge and skills to continue their journey according to studied methodological and scientific foundations were developed so that students devote several vital skills that must be mastered and practiced in an optimal way.
And that the enrichment, specialized and skill programs that the Ministry launches on an annual basis, especially vacation times, come to complement educational concepts and outputs throughout the year that the Ministry seeks to devote in the minds of students through academic curricula and extracurricular activities that will refine the student's skill and direct his abilities and knowledge potential consistent with his ambition and with Labor market requirements as well as the ministry works according to a methodology through which it seeks to enable the student academically and skillfully in the various study stations, whether general or higher education and the balance between the aspirations of our students and the need of the labor market for specializations.
He praised the distinguished partnerships that bring together the Ministry of Education and national universities that are keen to cooperate closely with the Ministry to produce pioneering initiatives that positively reflect on educational outcomes and advance the quality of the educational system in the country with its two sides in public and higher education in order to achieve the aspirations and hopes of rational leadership in the education sector.
In turn, the Minister of State for General Education Affairs, Jamila Bint Salem Al Muhairi, affirmed the ministry’s keenness to develop qualitative summer programs that elevate students ’knowledge and gain them more vital skills that will refine their personality and direct their energies to benefit from them in subsequent educational stages, explaining that the Ministry has made extraordinary efforts this year On various levels, it has endeavored to align its skillful summer programs in a manner that ensures the preservation of students ’safety and security in response to the conditions of the current stage and so that they can also continue to build on their knowledge gained during their past school year by engaging in the various summer programs that the Ministry provides by default this year.
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Care and Activities, Dr. Amna Al-Dahhak Al-Shamsi, reported that our national ambassadors program includes five diverse paths that enrich students ’skill and knowledge experience as the first track is specialized in scientific research and aims to provide students with concepts and skills of methodology of scientific research and practical experience in the field of research Of scientific research by involving them in the implementation of a research project. It also provides them with the necessary skills to submit university application applications, while the second track (enrichment track) aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills in various specialized fields of knowledge and train them on various scientific subjects such as artificial intelligence, programming, robotics and others.
She noted that the third track, Entrepreneurship, was designed by the Ministry to enhance the capabilities of students in the field of entrepreneurship and assist them in creating emerging entrepreneurial projects and enable them to the characteristics and skills of successful entrepreneurs, and also motivates them to think outside the fund, and come up with innovative solutions in economic matters, while targeting the fourth track (path) Diplomacy) Developing students' knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of diplomacy and leadership through virtual e-learning programs as this pathway program includes a virtual simulation of the United Nations model and focuses on practical training for students on working principles, controls and laws for participating in United Nations sessions.
Al Shamsi explained that the virtual training sustainability program, the fifth track, will be implemented in partnership with leading institutions in the field of sustainability. The program, which will last for two weeks, targets distinguished higher education students at the undergraduate and graduate levels who are enrolled in one of the sustainability-related programs in one of the higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates and will work Students who will be chosen to participate in the program with pioneers in the field of sustainability to build a knowledge base that serves the country's sustainable development strategy.
