The boy who is under 18 and the girl who was under 15 at the time knew each other already. The rape continued but the girl on several occasions said that she did not want to have intercourse with him, writes the Västerbotten courier.
The parents reported the incident
The girl's parents chose to report the incident after she told them what had happened. The police then took part in chat conversations where the girl questioned why the boy did not stop when she said away.
Youth service and damages
According to the court, the girl has provided a detailed account of the incident. Witnesses and the written evidence that the police took part in strengthened her information. The district court considers that the boy was negligent when it came to the girl's age and is therefore sentenced to rape against children. He is sentenced to 150 hours of youth service and will pay SEK 115,000 in damages to the girl.
